Obscura Collective is an editorial and lifestyle photography brand with a love for the weird, unexpected, and unique. For the visual identity, I wanted to lean into that feeling without making it feel overly dark or serious. The color palette focuses on a clean black and cream white, with accents of deep blues, greens, and purples with black and a warm off-white, while the illustrations bring in some of the stranger details: clowns, bugs, warped disco balls, and old TVs with wonky screens. An old camera became the main logo, tying everything back to photography. The result is playful, nostalgic, and just weird enough to feel like Obscura.
