I’m the designer and founder behind Cedar & Sun Studio.

My path into branding wasn’t linear. I spent four years serving in the U.S. Marine Corps. After leaving the military, I opened a small boutique of my own and eventually sold it. I learned so much. Building that business from the ground up gave me a perspective I think is just as valuable as anything I learned in design school: I know what it’s like to be the person on the other side of the branding process – to have an idea you care deeply about and try to turn it into something real. I know this because I’ve been her.

That experience eventually brought me to branding and communications. I obtained a bachelor’s degree in Communications & Media Design and am perusing my MBA in Marketing. After more than five years of experience in marketing, branding, and creative work, I now help businesses turn their ideas and stories into thoughtful visual identities and the world built around them.

When I’m not working, you’ll find me outside (probably in a hammock). I love climbing, hiking, traveling, and exploring with my family. Nature, old places, road trips, and the little details that make somewhere memorable find their way into my work often.

Cedar & Sun is a reflection of all of that: thoughtful design, a little adventure, and a belief that the best brands feel like somewhere you want to be.
